What are the strengths and weaknesses of having to much power of people or things?
In Animal Farm, there are many issues that the animals are having with their owner, Mr. Jones. For example, Mr. Jones makes sure to feed them the amount of food to where they won't starve, and they don't like that at all. Additionally, in life, I think that when people overpower, like France taking over Haiti, isn't the best way to go because, when taking over you're basically taking away the rights and ways that the people want to live. Also, a strength to overpowering is that you may be helping who or what you are overpowering. Unlike Animal Farm, animals that are in danger, like a dog getting hit by a car, could really use the help because they won't be able to take care of themselves as well as they did if they were free. Animal Farm is a great way for people to understand that overpowering isn't always a good thing. When being overpowered, the people that are in control have the rights to really do anything that they want, so they could mistreat them and get away with it, and that's not fair. Like in Animal Farm, Mr. Jones takes away the hen's eggs, that could of been her children, and the cows and pigs offspring was taken away to be sold for money to support himself. The story shows how the animals want their freedom and the ways that they were going to make them happen, which we call is a revolution.
